Loki’s Retirement
23rd February 2025
Due to an ongoing medical problem, I have decided to retire Loki from any further events and allow him to live out the rest of I hope his long life in comfort in his aviary.
I believe Loki's health and comfort must be my priority.
He will be sorely missed at events as he is quite a remarkable character and charms every audience he has met.

Another visit to Easton C of E school to see familiar friends and faces as usual we had a very enthuiastic afternood talking about Owls and Loki and billy showing off as usual.

Visit to Little Hayes Nursery and Speedwell Nursery School
20th November 2024
Loki and I visited both of these Nurseries to be greeted by a super group of enthuiastic children. Loki behaved himself and he had numerous photos of him taken during our visits.

Owl Occasions bring our Owls to you!!!

OwlOccasions can attend your special event from Birthday Parties, , Owl experiences, Family Events, Educational Schools Visits, Care Homes, Adult groups, Rainbows, Brownies, Guides and Scout Groups and more.

Based just outside Bristol and covering Bristol and its surrounding areas. Requests for events outside this area will be considered (Ideally maximum travel time from home is approximately 1-hour for the bird's comfort) please email Owl Occasions for more information. (No travel fee charged if your location is within an approx 10-mile radius from J1 M32. A fee of 50p per mile return will be charged outside this area). A £9 charge will be added if travel means entering the Clean Air Zone

I give educational talks to schools or groups of all ages with a 'Show and Tell' type presentation of the Birds covering their habitat, breeding, feeding and conservation. I bring a number of birds and hope to fly one during the presentation (location and birds permitting).

I can give formal PowerPoint Presentations on Owls, Birds of Prey of the United Kingdom, Wildlife and Conservation and bring an owl to meet you.

'Meet our birds', have a private session where you can hold an Owl and have a photo taken by friends and relatives whilst being informed about its special senses and conservation.
